That bit about "not hitting the ball and applying pressure instead" – that's gold!! Thanks for that!

Thanks Adam. When I take as full a turn as I am capable, then shift pressure into my left foot and let go, I don't have any sense of what the club face and shaft are doing. I hit every bad shot in the book. I typically have a decent drive then proceed to hit next shots fat with any club including wedges. And my weight is not on my back foot. But I can also push or pull it with all other irons and hybrids. People have told me I have a swing that looks like that of someone who should be breaking 80 regularly. Yet I can't get the face consistently in the proper position and I rarely hit the ground after the ball. Any thoughts?

Should be titled "golf swing made super complicated and boring you will totally lose the plot by min 2 and feel your brain getting numb"

Just tried this drill for the right hand position on the range and have been amazed at the results.I have been playing for years and never thought about my right hand aiming at the target.I have always been left hand dominant and probably had the right hand too passive. By adopting the 'stone throwing' thought and aiming through to target has been a revelation.

I’m trying to teach my preschool kid golf – documenting it from the beginning on my channel – any ideas for helping a little kid develop a decent swing plane?

Any suggestions would be great! It’s hard to explain pivots and mapping out right hands to a kid…

I tried teaching my 15 yr old golf during the last two summers.  One day, out of the blue he started smoking the ball with that big John Daly type overswing that skinny flexible kids use.  I asked him if he was doing anything different and he said " Yeah, remember last year when you were playing awful and I asked you a question, and you got mad and told me to just hit the damn ball with the damn stick?"  I said " I remember".  He said "well that's what I'm doing!"  Kids…

After purchasing your videos, and playing around with techniques you have taught…I've gone from 88-93 , to I'm 85 and below….After coming home from driving team truck with my wife, I had a good practice secession on the range, then played with a longer hitter that played from the tips, black tees..I,m 62 now, and told him I play from Gold tees, one tee in front of the white, measure at 5945 yards….Long story short…..I shot 40 on the front, 41 on the back…Heres the kicker….I had 5, 3 putts…But it was all good, because your video on getting my mind on the right path, even if I hit a shot I didnt like, I knew what happend, and knew how to correct it….I carried my yardage book in my back pocket, which I pulled out, and keep my mind on the task ahead….It was the best ball striking game I ever played…..I told him about not being able to play as much, because I'm truck driver with my wife, and credited my success to your teaching technique and video…PS…I also had 2 chip ins……Thank you again, your a great inspiration……….Leland

For a right handed person…does your left arm need to be fully straight when pulling back? I seem to have some difficulty doing so.

The thing I disagree with is that every golfer needs a rod to show them the line. You can't take a rod for direction assurance on course, but what you do is ensure your feet are square and in your practice swing your chest is perpendicular to the target line at follow through. Aside from the direction rod, a very good video.
