Hockey teams to honor memory of players killed in crash

>>THEY ARE GOING TO BE COLLECTING DONATIONS TO PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS TO OTHER ATHLETES. BOTH WILL BE WEARING THIS RIBBON TO REMEMBER THE TEAMMATES THIS COMMITTEE LOST.>>IT IS GOING TO BE TOUGH. THEY WERE A BIG PART OF OUR TEAM. GUYS THAT ALL OF US LOVED. IT IS WEIRD THEY ARE NOT THERE.>>IS A DIFFICULT NIGHT.>>THESE ARE TWO YOU MEN WHO HAD AN IMPORTANT IMPACT. REPORTER: NUMBER 10 JAMES LAVIN AND NUMBER 19 OWEN HIGGINS WERE STANDOUTS ON THE TEAM AND AT THE HIGH SCHOOL. THEIR TEAMMATES HAVE BEEN GRIEVING BUT THEIR COACH SAYS MOVING FORWARD WITH THE SEASON WILL BE ESSENTIAL AS THEY CONTINUE TO HEAL.>>IT’S PART OF HEALING PROCESS . THE KIDS WANTED TO GET ON THE ICE.
