How to Hide Box Score Columns in SportsPress

December 10, 2019

Hey guys, Brian here from ThemeBoy with
quick video on how to hide box score columns in SportsPress events.
So we’re gonna go and have a look at one of our events. If we scroll down to the box score
section we can see all of our players and columns for their
performance. In this case those columns are Goals,
Assists, Yellow Cards, and Red Cards. Now let’s say that we don’t want to show
the Assists in this table, but we still want to keep
track of these values for player profiles and for their
performance calculations. So what we’re gonna do is we’ll go back
into our dashboard and go to SportsPress Settings. Now we’ll click on the Events tab. If we scroll down to the Box Score section we can see that Columns is set to Auto. So we want to change this to Manual and
we’re gonna save changes. Now let’s go back into our event and we’ll see these checkboxes next to
the column names. So we’re gonna check all of them except
for the one that we don’t want to show which is Assists. So we’ll go and click Update and we’ll have a look at that event again. So now we can see that Goals, Yellow Cards, and Red Cards are shown
but Assists have now been hidden. So I hope you found this tutorial
to be useful and for more tips and tricks about
SportsPress and WordPress in general feel free to subscribe to this channel.
I’ll see you the next video.
