ELSEWHERE ON THE ICE, BOWDOIN DIDN’T HAVE TO GO FAR TO FIND ITS REPLACEMENT FOR TERRY MEAGHER. JAMIE DUMONT, WHO WAS A SIX YEAR ASSISTANT FOR MEAGHER, WAS NAMED THE NEW HOCKEY COACH THIS MORNING. DUMONT, A LEWISTON NATIVE, BECOMES THE BEARS THIRD COACH SINCE 1959, AS HE WAS PRECEEDED BY SID WATSON AND MEAGHER, WHO BOTH HAVE OVER 300 CAREER WINS DUMONT USED TO COME TO GAMES AS A KID, AND NOW HE GETS A CHANCE LEAD THE TEAM.>>TO FOLLOW IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF SID WATSON AND TERRY MEAGHER, GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO CARRY THE TORCH AND MOVE FORWARD, AND KEEP THIS PROGRAM ON THE GOOD TRACK, .
