RIT on TV News: Hockey Playoffs Preview

>>ANCHOR: The number one ranked RIT Tigers
host UConn Friday in the AHA quarterfinals. The Tigers are preparing for the best of three
series at Ritter Arena. RIT enters this weekend’s contests having won six straight games. The
Tigers are 13-2-0 at home this season. RIT won both regular season matchups at home and
split a pair with the Huskies in Connecticut. Team members say they have treated their last
six games like they were playoff games.>>JARED DeMICHIEL: Making the games seem
like they were playoff-type games is going to have a great affect on us this weekend
we want to go on to the playoffs on a positive note. I think we’ve won our last six games
so that’s been nice.>>CAMERON BURT: It’s one of those games where
they put us in a good position here in the first round, and we’ll see if we can get past
that and go to next weekend.>>COACH WAYNE WILSON: We just have to be
concerned about how we play, what kind of energy level we bring to the game, our execution.
We have to play smart.
